National Road Safety Month is celebrated through out the country from 18th January to 17th February 2021. With more than five thousand deaths occurring in our state every year due to road accidents, we have to create awareness among the stakeholders. We are conducting online quiz, idea(video), Jingles and banner competition  relating to road safety themes to improve the awareness among the road users. .

Super round quiz on 6th February(Saturday) 2021

1. The super round quiz will be conducted on 6th February Saturday at 10AM at respective RTO's choosen by the candidate

2. Please report the respective venue before 30 minutes.

3. Bring any of the following documents with you which will be required during the physical verification at RTO office .

        a. Adhar
        b. Voter ID Card
        c. College/School ID Card
        d. Driving License

  1. This quiz is exclusively for those who are selected for the super round
  2. The list of candidates is already published above
  3. You need to use the same mobile number which you have used for appearing all the quizzes
  4. The quiz link will appear 30 minutes before the quiz sheduled time i.e. at 9:30AM
  5. Total number of questions will be 30
  6. Total duration will be 15 minutes
  7. Each correct answer : 1 Mark
  8. Each wrong answer : -0.25 Mark
  9. Bonus mark based on your quiz finish time
    	Finish Time(FT) <=12:30 - 5 mark
    	FT > 12:30 and <= 13:00 - 4 mark
    	FT > 13:00 and <= 13:30 - 3 mark
    	FT > 13:30 and <= 14:00 - 2 mark
    	FT > 14:00 and <= 14:30 - 1 mark

About Road Safety Month 2021

32nd Road Safety Month 2021 will be celebrated in India from 18th January to the 17th February

You may be aware that over 1.51 lakh people lose their lives every year in our country in road accidents and many more are debilitated. This causes immense economic hardship and emotional trauma in their families. There is an urgent need to make our roads safer as the loss of lives and limbs cannot be accepted as the price of mobility.
The Central and the State Governments have been implementing various measures to make our roads safer. But the magnitude and gravity of the problem are such that these alonewill not suffice. There is a need for the society at large to take cognizance of the issue and tojoin hands to make road safety a social movement.
To give all the stakeholders an opportunity to take part in concerted action for thecause. "National Road Safety Month" is observed throughout the country every year in order to highlightand emphasize the need for safe roads. It is also an opportunity for all stakeholders to contribute to the cause by taking up activities to promote the concept. The 32nd Road Safety Week will be observed from 18th January to 17th February 2021.


Road safety week is celebrated by performing the following activities:

  • Road safety leaflets including roses, chocolates and flowers are distributed to the travelers on the road.
  • Commuters are also explained about the methods and necessities of the road safety means they must understand the use of helmets or seat belts while driving on the road or anywhere.
  • Various painting and drawing competitions, road safety announcements, exhibitions, road rules test, girls scooter rally to encourage the use of helmets, debates on road safety at the All India Radio, workshops, seminar and etc activities are organized.
  • Free medical check up camps and driving training workshops are organized for the drivers to encourage them towards the road safety.
  • Road safety quiz competitions are also organized to promote people about road safety.
  • Traffic safety games including card games, puzzles, board games and etc are organized to educate school children about road safety.

2021 Roadsafety Week Competition Details

To create awareness about road safety various kinds of online digital competition is conducted by state transport authority. The events are aimed at all category of people like general public, school and college students. Those who has a valid DL also should participate to refresh your knowledge on road safety rules and regulations.

Quiz Competition

The theme of the quiz Competition is "Road Safety". The objective of the quiz is not to test your knowledge, but to make you aware about road safety related rules, regulations and signages.

The participant has to record a video for 30 sec to 1 minute max and upload it on you tube. The video should be based on the given themes or any new theme of your interest.
